About Mrs. Campbell
Born and raised in California, I began performing at early age and grew into teaching by the time I attended high school. Both of my parents were teachers and artists and filled our house with music, dance, art, and theatre. It was a very lively and fulfilling childhood!
I attended Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and a double major in Music: Vocal Performance and History. I also met my husband, Jay Campbell, at Pacific University. My husband and I married in 1997 and soon started our family. We now have three beautiful girls; Caitlin, Aubrey and Jaidyn
In 1997, I became the Director of Dance and the resident choreographer for the Theater Department at Pacific University. Since relocating to Southern Oregon in 2003, I have been performing, choreography, directing and teaching in performing arts for local theatres (Oregon Cabaret Theatre, Randall Theatre, Collaborative Theatre Project, Camelot Theatre Company) and high school programs (Crater H.S. and North Medford H.S.). I also served as the Artistic Associate and Education Director/Camelot Conservatory for 12 years.
In 2007 I began my public teaching career at the Crater Academy of Natural Sciences, moved to Crater School of Business, Innovation and Science teaching Language Arts and Social Studies. I now have the pleasure of teaching Drama and Dance at Scenic Middle School and I look forward to building a strong academic focused performing arts program.
